Local Leaders Prevent Substance Misuse
A growing number of communities in Vermont believe that the sale of marijuana is not in keeping with their prevention goals and in conflict with the character of the community.
You too can act locally to limit or prohibit marijuana production and retail sites in your community.
The goals of the policies below are to:
- prevent substance misuse (including alcohol & tobacco),
- reduce the local burden of substance misuse, and
- help create healthier communities.
